Why pre-order? Why not just wait for the pattern to be officially launched? Well, y'all know that I'm passionate about sustainability and reducing waste. So, I don't want to order more patterns than are needed. The availability of paper patterns will entirely depend on pre-orders.
There will also be a .pdf version of the pattern available for those of you that prefer to work off of your tablet or print at home.
In other news, I finally finished my version of Suzy Quilt's Glitter + Glow Quilt.
I used arroyo fabrics by cotton and flax for the background, and hoffman batiks for the diamonds. This quilt reminds me of the foggy pacific coast, so I quilted with a gray variegated thread in waves, using two layers of batting for added texture.
You can find the quilt for sale here, and half of the proceeds will be donated to Planned Parenthood of the Northwest.
