Paige A.,
working artist
Hey, I'm Paige A., (she/her), a multidisciplinary artist and tattooer based on Coast Salish lands / Olympia & Tacoma, WA. My primary medium—and creative love—is tattooing. I specialize in dainty, folk-art inspired botanical tattoos that blend my adoration for the natural world with my background in environmental studies and textile arts.
I hold a Master’s in Environmental Studies from the Evergreen State College and a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from Western Washington University, with a focus on landscape ecology and community outreach. Before entering the tattoo world, I worked in ecological fieldwork and community-based research, which taught me how to listen deeply—to people, to patterns, to place. That same principles now guide my visual art and creative practice.

My work lives at the intersection of memory, domesticity, and the unseen labor of care. Rooted in motherhood and shaped by a lifelong negotiation of space—emotional, physical, creative—I find myself drawn to the beauty in the world around us, at home and in nature. Whether I’m tattooing, drawing, quilting, or documenting the quiet rituals of daily life, I’m exploring what it means to build a home within impermanence.

I currently tattoo at Noble Studio in Tacoma, WA, and serve as facility caretaker and artist-in-residence at Nisqually Reach Nature Center. When I'm not creating art, you'll find me in the company of friends or overturning rocks on the beach with my kiddo.
